Stayed at a cozy inn with a convenient bus stop right outside. Super close to great dining options, perfect for exploring the city.

The location was great, the staff were amazingly nice. Had nice dainties at Apothecary Kitchen, located next to the hotel.

Tidy room with the fanciest shared bathrooms, access from the PUB, a bar, and there's free parking onsite, if you travel by car. The airport is 19 miles away, easy to get to.

Pleasant staff and the location was marvellous. Rooms with balcony had a quiet atmosphere.

We were pleasantly surprised by our stay at Greenroof. The rooms and bathrooms were modern, spacious, and immaculately clean. It didn't feel like we were above a pub at all. The reasonable prices and convenient location with parking made it an ideal place to stay in Newcastle. The service was outstanding, with the manager following up on a sick member of our group with a thoughtful phone call. We highly recommend this clean and comfortable accommodation for a short stay.

As adventure travelers, we loved the convenient location and the opportunity to engage with the welcoming staff and locals. The shared amenities were exceptional, and we enjoyed learning about the intriguing history of the establishment. The nearby local coffee shop, "Lords," opening at 5:30 am on weekdays, was a great find for early risers. the room was clean, comfortable, and had all the necessary amenities we needed for our stay.

Located in a lively area with plenty of nighttime entertainment, this hotel provides a great value stay. The shared bathrooms are a big plus, with large private cubicles and modern fixtures. The fridge and air conditioning in the room worked perfectly and the staff were friendly and easygoing.

The cleaning service was not up to par, with evidence of dust and neglected carpets.

The interior design at Greenroof is absolutely stunning! Each room has its own unique character and the overall ambiance is very inviting. I loved the charm of the stairs leading up to the accommodation, it gave the place a nice feel.

The staff were friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The complimentary drinks at the bar were a nice touch, allowing us to relax in our room while we got ready for the evening. The location was perfect, with plenty of great bars and restaurants just a short walk away. we had a really enjoyable stay.

While the hotel was generally clean and well-maintained, there were a few small issues that let it down. We were disappointed to find that there were no toiletries provided in the room, not even a small bar of soap or a packet of shampoo.

We had a great stay in this hotel. Best aspects include clean rooms, friendly staff, and a great location close to restaurants. Free parking was a plus.
